JAMS “The Traditional”
Extra jams produced with the classic method of the peasant tradition.
Classic flavours of our tradition, for a healthy breakfast on the classic slice of “toasted” Tuscan bread or for the preparation of tarts.
Figs Extra Jam
Fragrant, with the unmistakable taste of his majesty, the “Dottato” fig of Carmignano. Perfect for breakfasts on bread or for desserts. Excellent on a good homemade ice cream.
Figs and Walnuts Extra Jam
Greedy. Figs “Dottati” of Carmignano embellished with pieces of caramelized walnut. Good for any situation from breakfast to desserts. Shall we try it with a good Tuscan salami?
Figs and Lemon Peel Extra Jam
Intense. The softness of the “Dottato” fig of Carmignano meets the freshness of the candied peel of our lemons. Excellent for breakfasts and pies, to try with ricotta.
Quince Extra Jam
At one time, the quince was present in all the farmers’ houses, these fruits were used to perfume the rooms and prepare the classic “purpurea” jam. For a pleasant breakfast or for the preparation of shortcrust biscuits.
Pomegranate Extra Jam
Sweet and sour at the same time, pomegranate is rich in antioxidants, vitamins C, K, B vitamins, proteins and carbohydrates; it is also rich in potassium. For a breakfast for athletes of all ages, surprising on an artisanal cream ice cream.
Pumpkin and Citrus Fruits Extra Jam
The jam you don’t expect, made with the two classic winter products. It warms the heart and the mornings enjoying it on freshly toasted bread. Inebriating filling of a homemade tart with lots of butter and imagination.
JAMS “The Special”
Extra jams but with a more refined taste; good for breakfast, in yogurt or with cereals, but also in combination with cured meats or cheeses of which they enhance taste and flavour.
Onion, Citrus and Ginger Extra Jam
A mix of red onions, citrus fruits and fresh ginger, for a result to be discovered. Excellent on fresh pecorino and goat cheeses, it can be an extra ingredient for your salads.
Strawberry and Black Pepper Extra Jam
Inebriating. Two intense aromas that combine perfectly to create a sweet and spicy jam; prefers fresh or semi-aged cheeses; but if you have time and desire, try it for breakfast, spread on a nice omelette: overwhelming!
Spicy Quince Extra Jam
The sweet of quince, with a spicy note of chili pepper; pander on aged cheeses, accomplice on boiled meats. Tradition unites quinces with love and luck, the spicy note amplifies the taste!
Aubergine and Ginger Extra Jam
A jam with the sweetness of aubergine but with that extra touch given by the light spiciness of fresh ginger. To be paired with semi-matured and matured cheeses, and as a garnish to boiled meats.
Spicy Green Tomatoes Extra Jam
Our tomatoes that do not reach maturity, past the overbearing sun of the summer months, are used in this particular jam. Sweet and sour taste, enlivened by a pinch of chili pepper; excellent on medium-aged cheeses, it is very interesting used as a condiment in imaginative salads.
Sour Cherries Extra Jam
Sour cherries are small fruits with an intense red color and a relatively sweet, slightly acid flavor, from which a very particular jam is obtained. It goes well with the classic breakfast, but does not mind accompanying cheeses. Try it with a good salty focaccia and Tuscan salami!
Sweet and sour fruit and / or vegetable jams based on sugar and wine vinegar. Excellent in combination with cheeses, cured meats, boiled or grilled meats.
The classic compote known to all, can be eaten on crostini with a base of savory cheeses with an intense flavor, or with boiled meats.
Onions and Peppers Compote
The sweetness of peppers and onions, dampened by the sour vinegar in which they are cooked, to create a fragrant and pander compote, to be combined with boiled meats, aged cold cuts and pecorino cheeses.
Figs and Onions Compote
A very balanced combination of Carmignano “Dottati” figs and red onions from our garden. To be used on medium-aged cheeses. It surprising combined with Mortadella di Prato.
Figs and Peppers Compote
The “Dottati” figs of Carmignano enhanced by the flavor of our peppers, to be used without hesitation on hard cheeses, goes very well with Tuscan ham and cured sausages.
The sweetness of our peppers, marinated overnight in a good red wine vinegar, and cooked until the sugars are caramelized. A very fragrant compote to combine with cheeses and boiled meats.
Pumpkin and Ginger Compote
It does not seem, but this compote has some character! Try it on soft cheeses or on tasty croutons, it will surprise you with its versatility.
